Today the West Virginia Faith & Freedom Coalition (WVFFC) hosted a roundtable discussion in Charleston on West Virginia’s Criminal Justice System. Focused on current problematic trends, proposed policy solutions, and messaging data, the discussion was productive and attended by legislators and organization leaders from West Virginia and neighboring states.
“Those that attended our discussion illustrated their commitment to addressing and learning about one of the most critical and complex issues facing our beautiful state: our criminal justice and penal system. I’m grateful for the leaders who joined us and I look forward to expanding our coalition and partnerships to make 2025 the year that West Virginia becomes a model for common sense criminal justice reform,” said Executive Director and organizer Curtis Workman.
