West Virginians Return from Road to Majority Conference Motivated for November Election
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Over 40 West Virginians joined thousands of conservative evangelicals in Washington, D.C. last week for the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s 2024 Road to Majority Conference. West Virginia’s Delegation included several members of the West Virginia legislature, college students, and engaged citizens from across the state. The nation’s premier pro-faith, pro-family event engages evangelicals with notable conservative speakers highlighting policies and candidates supporting Christian values.
Road to Majority welcomed dozens of the nation’s most prominent and influential conservative leaders, including former President Donald Trump, Governors Glenn Youngkin and Kristi Noem, Lt. Governor of North Carolina Mark Robinson, several members of Congress, and other honored dignitaries.
The Faith & Freedom Coalition also awarded their highly coveted “Winston Churchill Lifetime Achievement Award” to Texas-based pastor and evangelical leader John Hagee. Hagee was recognized for his work with troubled youth, Christian support for Israel, and ministering God’s word to millions through his evangelical ministry programs.
“This year’s Road to Majority conference ignited a passion and fire for November that will be difficult to defeat - Christian conservatives are ready to work harder than ever to promote policies and candidates that support time-honored values, individual freedoms, and stronger families. West Virginia was well represented at the timely conference and those that joined us returned to the Mountain State ready to get to work,” said Curtis Workman, Executive Director of the West Virginia Chapter of Faith & Freedom.
