WV Faith & Freedom Coalition’s
“PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN” Summit
“I have seen violence done to the helpless. I have heard the groans of the oppressed. I will rise up to rescue them.
- Psalm 12:5
It’s here - right in our communities.
Human trafficking, an abhorrent crime that knows no borders, has unfortunately seeped into the fabric of West Virginia as well. Despite our scenic beauty and tight-knit communities, the Mountain State has seen an alarming rise in incidents of human trafficking and we must act now. Vulnerable individuals, often young women and children, are coerced or forced into a life of exploitation and cruelty through a sinister trade that thrives in the shadows. While the fight against human trafficking is ongoing, it is crucial for the citizens of West Virginia to remain vigilant, educated, and aware of this dark practice. By training those on the frontline, raising awareness, supporting survivors, and strengthening legislation, we can work together to combat this heinous crime and ensure a safer future for all West Virginians.
We’re partnering with the Foundation United to train and educate West Virginia’s law enforcement, judicial officials, public officials, religious leaders, and educators on what to spot - and what to do - to eliminate this darkness in the Mountain State for good. Due to limited space, the event is by invitation only, but segments of the summit will be available live and after the event. We as an organization depend on people like you to support the work we do. Consider donating today to help us put on this summit and do our part to protect our children. You can donate here.
