WVFFC Board Secretary Mark Ryan to Senate Judiciary: Take up H.B. 4666

On Monday, the Secretary of the WV Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Board of Directors penned a letter to WV Senate Judiciary Committee members asking them to take up H.B. 4666, a bill that increases and establishes penalties for human trafficking-related crimes. The bill passed the WV House of Delegates unanimously at the end of January and was referred to the Judiciary committee after being received by the Senate.

We urge Senator Charles Trump to put H.B. 4666 on the agenda and make a clear message: human trafficking and its sinister industries have no place among these West Virginia Hills.

The bill can be found here.

Delegates’ Steele and Westfall have put forth H.B, 4666 and if supported by the Senate and signed by the Governor, will catapult West Virginia into becoming a leader of all states in the fight against human trafficking through increased state penalties that reflect the sinister nature of crimes related to human trafficking...
