WV Faith & Freedom Coalition Asks Governor Justice to Collect and Transfer Surplus Equipment to Aid Israel Police and Border Protection
March 14, 2023 - The leadership of the WV Faith & Freedom Coalition (WVFFC) penned a letter to Governor Jim Justice asking him to collect and transfer surplus protective equipment and supplies to assist Israel’s border protection and police forces defend Israel against the continued violence of Hamas and it’s sympathizers.
The WVFFC has connections with several organizations working to mediate and assist with the logistics of getting this equipment into the most needed hands and regions of Israel. The effort comes after Virginia’s Attorney General Jason Miyares sent surplus body armor and tactical gear to support the IDF last fall.
The need for continued support and meaningful action remains, though, and we urge Governor Justice and county officials to seriously consider aiding one of the United States’ most trusted allies in the Middle East in their time of great need.
