CHARLESTON, WV – The West Virginia Faith & Freedom Coalition released the following statement in celebration of the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States:
“Today, at noon, a bright and promising chapter for America was unveiled as Donald J. Trump once again took the oath of office for President of the United States. His inauguration marks the continuation of a bold agenda rooted in the principles of faith, family, and freedom—values that resonate deeply with the faith-based communities across West Virginia and the nation.
President Trump has consistently championed the rights of people of faith, standing firm against efforts to diminish religious freedoms and ensuring that faith-based organizations retain their ability to serve communities without interference. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing policies that protect the sanctity of life, strengthen the family unit, and reaffirm the role of faith in the public square.
During his previous administration, President Trump demonstrated unparalleled support for faith-based Americans, from defending religious liberties at home and abroad to appointing judicial leaders who respect the Constitution and honor the rights of religious Americans. Under his leadership, the nation saw groundbreaking efforts to protect life, including the appointment of three Supreme Court justices who helped secure the historic reversal of Roe v. Wade. These actions solidified his place as one of the most pro-faith presidents in modern history.
