FAITH & FREEDOM COALITION LETTER TO CONGRESS – COALITION OF FAITH LEADERS IN SUPPORT OF ISRAEL
November 28, 2023 - Faith & Freedom Coalition leadership joined faith leaders across the nation in a letter in support of Israel addressed to Congressional leaders in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
The letter highlighted the importance of America’s continued alliance with and support of Israel and the Israeli people during the volatile time of war against Hamas. The letter also included legislative and policy goals that the signees of the letter urge immediate action on, including aid to Israel’s defense, antisemitic efforts, and action against the Hamas terror group, among others.
The letter follows a mid-November solidarity ission to Israel that was hosted jointly by the North Carolina and West Virginia Chapters of the Faith & Freedom Coalition. The trip was a powerful tool for exposing current and future state-level leaders to the complexities faced by Israel, one of the United States’ strongest and longest-standing allies, and to begin to explore strategic ways that states can continue to strengthen bonds with Israel and with the Jewish people.
